BUCKEYE, Ariz. (AP) - A Phoenix woman who's deaf, mute and on medication has been found after being reported missing by her family in Buckeye.
Buckeye police say 44-year-old Norma Vega-Casillas was found Thursday afternoon in Phoenix. They say she's in good health and there are no signs of foul play.
She was staying with family in Buckeye on Monday and was to return home Tuesday.
But police say Vega-Casillas left the residence sometime during the night.
They say it's still unclear why she left or where she was going. Details on where Vega-Casillas was found weren't immediately available Thursday.
