Cops: Boy with knife threatened fellow student

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

An upstate student was arrested on Wednesday after police say he pulled a knife and threatened to kill a fellow student.

The New York state police say it happened near Hendrick Hudson High School in Buchanan at about 7:55 a.m.

Police say Christopher O'Connor, 16, was arrested on menacing and weapons charges.  They were alerted by a witness who say the incident while dropping another student off at the school.

No injuries were reported.  O'Connor was waiting to be arraigned in the Village of Buchanan Court.
