YPSILANTI TWP., Mich. (WJBK) -- Washtenaw County Sheriffs are looking for a man responsible for robbing a pharmacy at gunpoint earlier this week.

Sgt. Geoff Fox says the suspect walked into the CVS pharmacy on the 1400 block of E. Michigan Ave. on Monday around 6:50 p.m. According to the clerk working at the cash register, the man walked up as if to pay for a drink, displayed a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect then took the money and fled the scene on foot.

He's described as a black male in his mid-20s standing around 5'9" and weighing 170 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the W.C.S.O. Confidential Tip line at (734) 973-7711 or 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
