Troy's Excellent Adventure: True Rest Float Spa

Posted: Updated:
TEMPE, Ariz. -

The holidays are nearly over, and while a lot of people really enjoy all the shopping and getting together with family, others might find it really stressful.

So I want to show you an interesting way to relax. Ever thought of floating all your stress away?

The spot for our mellow adventure is the True Rest Float Spa in Tempe.

I showed up in shorts and flip flops, looking to relax... signed some forms, watched a video, and then attendant Katy King took me back.

You float like a cork on top of water filled with 1,200 pounds of salt. It makes you super buoyant -- and apparently super relaxed.

They have me shower off, put ear plugs in to keep the water out, and then I slip into my pod.

Press play for more.
