GLENDALE, Ariz. -

It was a battle of the bands out at University of Phoenix Stadium Sunday for the 35th Annual Fiesta Bowl Band Championship.

Ten of the best bands from across the nation, including two from Arizona, competed in the high school band competition.

The Fiesta Bowl Band Championships gave each school 10 minutes to show the judges a flute tweeting, drum beating, horn tooting fun time.

"So far I couldn't ask for a better experience. I'm so glad to be here and just walking into the stadium I got a great feeling," said Katie Sheets of the Grove City, Calif. marching band.

Grove City High School was named the 2012 Fiesta Bowl Band Champion. Basha High School from Chandler placed 3rd, and Casa Grande High School placed 4th.
