CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

About twenty people—including children—were displaced when a blaze erupted at an apartment building in the Lawndale neighborhood Saturday night, authorities said.

The fire broke out on the third floor of a three-story building located in the 2400 block of South Drake Avenue about 10 p.m., according to a spokesman for the Chicago Fire Department. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze shortly after arriving at the building, the spokesman said.

No injuries were reported, the spokesman said, and the cause of the fire remained under investigation Saturday night.

About 15 companies and some ambulances were at the scene of the fire.
