Posted: Updated:

Authorities are investigating an accident that killed two and sent two more to the hospital in Lehigh County Saturday morning.

The accident happened at Race and Railroad Streets in the Borough of Catasauqua. Jaenis DeLosSantos, 18 of Catasauqua, and Thomas Bono, 18 of Allentown, both died from blunt force trauma in the accident. The two others in the vehicle were transported to St Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem for their injuries.

Authorities say that the car appears to have lost control and hit a utility pole just after 6a.m.

Alcohol and speed may have played a factor.
