2 rocket launchers turned in at gun buyback program in LA

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Police in Los Angeles expected all kinds of weapons when they staged a gun buy-back program the other day, but even they were surprised when two rocket launchers were turned in.

Police aren't saying who turned in the weapons, but say the person who handed them in was allowed to walk away because of the "no questions asked" policy they have for the buy back program.

More than 2,000 weapons were turned in.

They will all be destroyed.
