Study says caffeine helps with weight loss, but coffee does not

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Australian researchers said caffeine can help you lose weight. But coffee won't.

That's because they believe certain compounds in coffee might block the weight-reducing properties of caffeine.

It's not clear if caffeine actually reduces weight, but the Mayo Clinic believes caffeine can suppress appetite or burn calories.
