DETROIT (WJBK) -- A bold ATM robbery unfolded in less than a minute.  Only two employees were inside the Hollywood Coney Island on the 9000 block of Gratiot around 4:00 a.m. Christmas Day when surveillance video shows two men wearing black masks walked in and began rocking an ATM back and forth trying to rip it from its post.

One of the masked men can be seen violently slamming his back into the trash cans, eventually ripping them out of the wall and pushing them out of the way.

"That was petty to come in here and steal the ATM machine.  How about get a job?" said Tyeisha Bell.  "I feel not even safe coming to work here in this neighborhood."

Once the ATM was knocked over, video shows the machine being dragged out the door, but we're told there was no payoff.

"There was no money in there.  That's what I heard," Bell said.

Then early Thursday morning there was another ATM incident.  We're told three guys went to a BP gas station on Van Dyke near the Hollywood Coney Island and took a sledge hammer to the ATM trying to crack it open.  The ATM is a little busted up, but still standing.  The three masked men made a run for it when the BP employee they were holding at gunpoint called 911.

The manager said they were hammering away at the ATM for seven minutes before they gave up.
