1/4: Machinist

Freedman Seating Company, a leading manufacturer of bus and commercial truck seats, located on the west side of Chicago has an immediate opening for a Machinist. The ideal candidate would be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment and have the ability to handle multiple projects at one time.

Qualifications:

Good working knowledge of machined and fabricated components

Must be able to run a mill, horizontal lathe, surface grinder and drill press

Must be able to use calipers and micrometers

Must be able to read blue prints

Must have strong math skills

Previous metal fabrication experience preferred

Previous experience in welding a plus

Previous experience with Mill Power by Acu-Rite or Prototrac a plus
