LANSING, Mich (WJBK) -- It's a busy day ahead for Michigan Governor Rick Snyder as he is expected to sign a number of bills into law today.

Currently, there are more than 40 bills awaiting his signature.  These bills were sent to Governor Snyder by the legislature before Christmas.

Snyder has already signed some of the most controversial bills, including "right to work" legislation and bills to make it more difficult to recall elected officials.

On his desk now is the new emergency manager law, abortion restrictions, and medical marijuana regulations.
