TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a man linked to a crime spree involving five burglaries and three auto thefts in the Tucson area is in custody.

Pima County Sheriff's officials say 31-year-old Patrick Joseph Greiwe was arrested early Monday while allegedly driving a stolen car.

Earlier this month, authorities named Greiwe as the suspect in burglaries and car thefts from homes and a business in the community of Catalina over past two months.

They say evidence found at each scene allegedly linked Greiwe to the crimes.

Greiwe has been booked into the county jail. Authorities didn't immediately know Monday afternoon if Greiwe had a lawyer yet.
