The Talker: Holiday lights becoming source of controversy

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A woman in the Los Angeles suburbs is extra festive.

The light display on her home has $65,000 flashing, dancing lights and also an amped-up stereo system. It plays a Christmas version of "Macho Man" and also hits like "Gangnam Style."

The woman who owns the house recently lost her husband to an illness and says the display is in his honor.

But it's been making news because of a feud in the shadow of the lights.

Neighbors say they're all for the Christmas spirit, but this is just too much. They say all the crowds and traffic are another problem.

The lights are on every night from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
