Christmas shopping at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Are you still not done with your holiday shopping? Well the good news is it is not too late to find the perfect gift. The Metropolitan Museum of Art may be able to help you.

Every year, the Met releases its Holiday Catalog that offers a gift for everyone on your shopping list. From holiday cards, books, to jewelry and clothes, a lot of the gifts are inspired by what you see in the museum's galleries.

Need a stocking stuffer or a gift for the boss? Maybe you're not sure what to bring the hostess at that holiday party. Some Louis Comfort Tiffany Domed Magnets are on $19.95 and are sure to brighten anyone's day.

The Lego White House architecture set is one of many educational toys they have here and retails for $59.95.

It's been over 30 years since the museum has produced a new guidebook and now after collaborating with all 17 curatorial departments the book has hit the shelves. For $24.95 the guidebook is available in a variety of languages.

Since 1964, the Met has displayed its beautiful Christmas tree crèche display and has become a holiday tradition. The angels on the tree inspire the annual angel ornaments, which are based on a different angel every year. These ornaments are collectors' items. For $55 will make a beautiful addition to any tree.

After you're done shopping, don't forget to come by and see the Christmas tree and Neapolitan Baroque Crèche.
