We have an official winner for the December 5th Powerball Jackpot drawing!

Roger Custer of Levittown, Bucks county, was presented with a ceremonial check for a whopping $33,134,526.18.  His wife Linda and several family members were on hand to celebrate this joyous occasion.

Custer correctly matched all five white balls and the red Powerball to win the giant $50 million annuity prize.   He elected to take the cash prize of $33.1 million minus 25% federal withholding.

Custer purchased the winning ticket at Levittown News & Tobacco.   He told them media he was on his way out of town for a hunting trip when he stopped at the store to pick up some supplies and some lottery tickets.

"After I got back, a friend mentioned that the jackpot-winning ticket was sold nearby and I jokingly said, 'I'm the winner.' I went home, handed the ticket to my wife and said, 'Check this and tell me how many millions we've won.'"

Custer said his wife checked the ticket, began to cry with joy and said, "You'd better not be kidding me, Roger."

He was not kidding.

It was a soupy start today. We can expect many clouds, some sun, lots of humidity, and a chance of pop up showers any time. At least it'll be warmer: High around 80-degrees today.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. Warm temps stick around, too. And we do mean stick...because it'll be humid, too.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
