Sometimes there are no words, only tears

It's ok to cry.  President Obama just did it.  I am doing it.  Some of my colleagues who are hardened by the news business are doing it.

Sometimes it's better to just cry.

To feel it.

Let it flow.

Breathe.  In fact take deep breaths.

Listen.  Learn.  Empathize.

Don't rationalize.

Don't try to solve the problem.

Just be.

Feel.

There is a time to figure out how to solve problems like this.  Today just mourn.

Love the ones your with.

Pray for those who need it, however and whatever that means to you.

Tomorrow or the next day will come and with it the opportunity to shine a light on a dark situation.

What it reveals may be harsh and the problems extremely tough to solve or even cope with.

But it can be done.  It will be done.

Today, just cry.

For now no words are needed, only tears.
