PHILADELPHIA -

Mob soldier Anthony Nicodemo, 42, has been officially charged with Murder, Conspiracy, Possession of an Instrument of a Crime  and Violation of the Firearms Act by the District Attorney's Office for the death of 50-year-old Gino DiPietro.

Nicodemo was arraigned last night and is being held without bail. His next court date is scheduled for January 2, 2013 in courtroom 306.

Early Thursday night, a high ranking police source told FOX 29 News that ballistics tests on a gun recovered from the SUV of mob soldier Anthony Nicodemo match bullets taken from the body of the murder victim in Wednesday's suspected mob hit.

Sources also tell FOX 29 that investigators have recovered a sweatshirt and a mask believed to be used in Wednesday's shooting.

The victim, Gino Dipietro, was rushed to Hahnemann Hospital where he died from his injuries less than 30 minutes after the shooting.
