Salvation Army providing Christmas assistance

(WJBK) -- If your family is in need this holiday season don't despair.  The Salvation Army is accepting applications for Christmas assistance until Friday, December 14th.

Help is available for people with special needs, families with children, and senior citizens living in Wayne, Oakland or Macomb counties.

After reviewing the application, if the Salvation Army believes you are eligible you could receive food, food gift cards, and toys.
