Two people were rushed to the hospital after an accident with a MARTA bus on Monday. It happened just before 7 a.m. on Candler Road in southeast Atlanta near Interstate 20.
Marta officials say the bus was not badly damaged but riders were being checked out on the scene as a precaution. The two people in the car were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital.
Their injuries are not known.
The driver of the car was cited for failure to maintain lanes.
