PHOENIX -

Saint Vincent de Paul's annual holiday cut-a-thon gave homeless people around the valley a new do.

Stylists across the valley donated their time to give haircuts to homeless kids and adults.

No holiday event is complete without Santa, who handed out candy canes and gifts to kids.

Saint Vincent de Paul is grateful for the volunteers who help make the haircut-a-thon possible.

"This is the 21st year and so they've done well over 23,000 haircuts in that time for homeless guests and we're just honored and blessed to have such wonderful volunteers," said Jerry Castro, the food services manager at St. Vincent de Paul.

Over 100 homeless people got haircuts and a free lunch during the holiday cut-a-thon.
