FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. -

The CEO of Sally Ride Science will be the guest speaker at Berry College's fall commencement.

The graduation ceremony on Dec. 15 will feature Sheryle Bolton, who is also a college trustee.

She began her career as a Peace Corps volunteer in Tunisia and formerly taught in Georgia's public schools. She later worked at HBO, Rockefeller & Co. and as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch.

Bolton was named in August as CEO of Sally Ride Science, a science education company founded by the first U.S. woman in space.
