CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Police have located a 9-year-old boy who went missing from outside a North Lawndale area school Friday afternoon on the West Side.

Classmates last saw Rhazel Knight about 1 p.m. outside his elementary school in the 1600 block of South Spaulding Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Area Central detectives.

He was standing on the corner waiting for siblings after school, police said.

The boy was later located, police said in a statement Friday night.
