Lyric Opera, Food Depository raise money to feed the hungry

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
The Lyric Opera teamed up with the Greater Chicago Food Depository to help raise money to feed the hungry this holiday season.
December marks their "One City, One Food Drive" campaign, and the Lyric's newest performance of the classic "Hansel and Gretel" begins Friday and runs through January.
At each performance, they will hand out brown paper bags for people to take home, fill up and drop off at any one of the more than 300 food bins around the city.
Fox 32 News is also a partner in this effort.
The Civic Opera House is also accepting donations in the box office lobby between Friday and Dec. 21.
