Burbank woman accuses police officer of sexual assault

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A Burbank woman has filed a lawsuit against the village of Justice and a Justice police officer.

She claims Officer Carmen Scardine forced her to perform a sex act on him, in his squad car, back in May.

The lawsuit claims Scardine stopped his car and told her to get in while she was waiting for a cab.

Officials said Scardine was suspended last month for police procedure infractions but an official said he didn't know if the suspension was related to the lawsuit.
