Arrest Made In Shotgun Robberies, Police Say

Posted: Updated:
PHILADELPHIA -

Police say they've made an arrest in a series of robberies, including two shotgun robberies in North Philadelphia neighborhoods that were shown first on FOX 29 News last week.

Ronald Khalif Green, 24, of C Street, has been arrested in connection with six robberies, police said.

FOX 29's Dave Schratwieser reports that police did recover a shotgun.

Three of the robberies occurred in the police department's 35th District, two were in the 25th District and one was in the 2nd District.

Among the victimized stores was the Pizza Point Restaurant in Feltonville, where workers said the robber shoved a gun in their faces and demanded money. When he wasn't satisfied with his take, things got nasty, with the robber allegedly pushing workers with the shotgun and threatening to shoot them.

Not only did the robber take money from the pizza shop, but he also stole money from each of the employees, including two delivery drivers who walked in on the robbery. Luckily, no one was hurt.
