A man was critically wounded in a Humboldt Park neighborhood shooting Thursday afternoon on the Northwest Side.
The 21-year-old man was shot in the back at 3:28 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Spaulding Avenue, said police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala, citing preliminary information.
Paramedics took the man to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in critical condition, according to Fire Media Affairs.
