Man accused of stabbing wife outside Jack in the Box

SURPRISE, Ariz. -
A Surprise man has been arrested for stabbing his wife during an argument outside a Jack in the Box.
Wednesday just before 5 p.m., police say that 41-year-old Martin Hernandez stabbed his wife in the parking lot of the fast food joint, located at 16760 West Bell Road.
Witnesses called police and officers arrived in time to arrest Hernandez and take the victim to the hospital.
Police say that Hernandez stabbed the victim multiple times. He allegedly admitted to that crime and other crimes he had committed against her prior to this incident.
The victim is expected to survive.
Hernandez was booked into jail for aggravated assault - domestic violence.
