Apple CEO Looks To Bring MAC Production Back To US

Posted: Updated:

It has been a big year for Tim Cook.

Approximately one year ago he took the reigns of what some consider the most valuable company in the world: Apple.  He had enormous shoes to fill as he succeeded Steve Jobs.

This morning, Bloomberg's Businessweek.com published an interview with Cook.  In that interview he told the reporter that he intends to bring some of the production of the MAC back to US soil.

" . . . And next year we are going to bring some production to the U.S. on the Mac. We've been working on this for a long time, and we were getting closer to it. It will happen in 2013." he told Bloomberg's Josh Tyrangiel.

This is great news for the economy as Cook says the company plans to invest nearly $100 million into this homecoming.
