WARREN, Mich. (WJBK) -- Crews are extinguishing what's left of a fire that destroyed a resale shop and damaged several other businesses in the area of 10 Mile and Ryan Road.

FOX 2's Al Allen reports the fire broke out around 2 a.m. Thursday inside the former supermarket that had been home to furniture resale shop in recent years. Allen says the shop had recently closed.

The plaza was home to several other businesses, including a Little Caesars pizza store which suffered minor damage. A Family Dollar and restaurant were spared major damage, according to Allen.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but investigators tell Allen it appears to be suspicious.
