Starbucks to expand to 1,500 new stores in 5 years

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
Starbucks is planning a big expansion.
The coffee giant is planning to open at least 1,500 new stores here in the U.S. over the next 5 years which will boost the number of Starbucks cafes in the country by about 13%.
Worldwide, Starbucks says it will have more than 20,000 cafes by 2014.
Much of that growth will come from China, which will surpass Canada as the company's second-biggest market.
