Illinois home prices drop in November

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Home prices in Illinois were down two tenths of one percent last month, even though they were up more than six percent in the rest of the country.

Home prices in Illinois have been slow to recover from the recession because state regulations have slowed efforts here to clear foreclosed properties off the market.

It can often take up to two years to clear a foreclosed property off the books.
