Displaced Paulsboro Residents Arrested At Motel

Greenwich Township police have arrested a total of 22 people, including 6 minors at the Motel 6 in Gibbstown on December 3.

Officers were responding to a disturbance and narcotics use in a room that was actually being rented by Conrail for people that were displaced from the Paulsboro train derailment.

Conrail rented a total of 14 rooms through December 8th for those residents.

Offenders were charged with disorderly conduct and additional charges are pending for possession of suspected marijuana, crack cocaine, alcohol and narcotics paraphernalia. Additional charges are also pending for maintaining a nuisance and supplying alcohol to minors.

All were released on complaint summons.
