CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

More than 80 health groups and doctors are calling on Nickelodeon to dump junk food ads on their channels.

They also want the company to stop licensing characters like Dora The Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants for junk food commercials.

Disney adopted an anti-junk food policy earlier this year that the health groups want other media outlets to use as a model.
