Tucson police arrest a suspect in murder case

Posted: Updated:

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say they've arrested a suspect in the murder of a Tucson man eleven months ago.

Tucson police said Monday that 36-year-old Bryan Foshay is being held on suspicion of 1 count of first-degree murder.

An arrest warrant was issued for Foshay in November. He was arrested by Tucson police and federal authorities without incident Monday.

Police say 39-year-old Brian Blackwell was found dead in his Tucson apartment on Jan. 30.

A relative called 911 after finding the body.

Investigators say Blackwell and Foshay got into an altercation in the apartment, but the manner of death hasn't been released yet.
