Search On For Driver Who Struck, Killed Woman

PHILADELPHIA -

Police say a driver struck a woman in Southwest Philadelphia on Monday night and left her to die.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. in the area of 48th Street and Chester Avenue.

Police say the 52-year-old woman was hit by a Chevy Trailblazer.

That vehicle was found about eight blocks away from the scene on Larchwood Street.

There are no surveillance cameras in the area. If you have any information, call police.
