Police: Father, 4-Year-Old Son Victims Of South Philly Shooting

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia Police tell FOX 29 News they are searching for the suspect who fired several shots into a van, hitting a father and his four-year-old son Monday night.

The shooting happened on the 2700 block of Daly Terrace in southwest Philadelphia.

Police say a nine-year-old girl was also in the van, but was unharmed.

According to investigators, the father, 30, was shot in the back of the neck. The boy was shot in the belly, police said.

Investigators believe the father was the suspect's intended target.
