Parking meter company`s report off by more than $22M: City Hall

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The company that runs Chicago's parking meters says the city owes them a lot of money.

Chicago Parking Meters LLC says it's lost $61 million in revenue because city hall has taken meters out of service and has forced them to provide free disability parking. City hall says that's far from the truth.

The Sun-Times obtained documents from city officials claiming to have found more than $22 million in errors in that report.

This is the latest in a series of disputes between city hall and Chicago Parking Meters.

Independent arbitrators are meeting with both sides to determine how much the city must pay.
