The adult son of an Arizona lawmaker from Kingman has pleaded guilty to drug charge.

28-year-old Michael Goodale and his 31-year-old sister Stephanie were arrested back in May as part of an investigation into the sale of heroin in the Kingman area.

Police said two people from Las Vegas had met Michael Goodale and his girlfriend to deliver heroin and seized a half-ounce of heroin and $6,000 in cash at the scene.

Their mother is State Representative Doris Goodale.

Michael is expected to receive more than three years in prison when he's sentenced next month.

The case against Stephanie is still pending.
