Paulsboro Evacuations Remain In Effect

Evacuations in place after the Paulsboro Train Derailment remain in effect until at least Saturday, Dec. 8

The decision was made by Unified command members to ensure the safety of the public. Some rail cars still hold vinyl chloride and potential hazards remain.

The evacuation boundaries remain the same:

 Railroad Avenue (North)

East Broad/Crown Point Road (South)

Mantua Creek (East)

North Delaware Street (West)

All Paulsboro Public Schools will be open Monday, Dec. 3.  Head Start Center of Paulsboro and The Gateway Communications Center will remain closed through Friday, Dec. 7. Students at Guardian Angel School in Paulsboro should report to the Gibbstown campus for the week.  All activities at the Paulsboro campus will be postponed to a later date.

All Municipal Courts are cancelled for Monday, Dec. 3.
