FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - An Arizona man is facing serious injuries after Flagstaff police say two men attacked him with a machete.

Police say the unidentified victim was attacked Saturday and suffered injuries to his face, head, back and 1 of his legs.

The victim told police that he was targeted by the pair because of an earlier confrontation.

Police say they have identified 1 of the suspects in the attack as 19-year-old Andrew James Jaurequi, of Flagstaff. The second suspect, who authorities say goes by the name "Sauce," has not been positively identified.

The condition of the victim is not known.
