TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The annual Tucson Festival of Books is likely to elicit cheers next year.
The Arizona Daily Star reports actor Ted Danson will be a presenter at the 2-day event in March.
The "Cheers" star will be speaking on behalf of the Western National Parks Association. The organization is celebrating 75 years of partnering with the National Park Service.
Danson, who currently headlines "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" on CBS, will be the featured guest at the WNPA gala the same day.
The Emmy winner's father was a WNPA board member and advocate for the Hubbell Trading Post, a National Park site on the Navajo reservation.
The festival takes place March 9 and 10 at the University of Arizona.
