Robber uses bank drive-thru to get cash

PHOENIX -

Police are looking for a woman who drove through the drive thru of a bank and sent a demand note through the mail tube on Friday.

The woman targeted the drive thru of an Arizona Federal Credit Union near Southern Avenue and 16th Street.

She sent a note through the mail tube that said she wanted $1,000 and that her partner was in front of the bank armed with a gun.

The teller gave the suspect cash and she drove away in a 2004-2009 Dodge, possibly a Stratus.

The suspect is described as a Black or Hispanic female, 30's, with short blonde hair, wearing prescription glasses.
