The man accused in the death of a 10-month-old baby and her grandmother will stand trial on murder and kidnapping charges.
Raghunandan Yandamuri, 26, appeared in court Wednesday.
During the court appearance, prosecutors played a video taped statement, in which Yandamuri was heard saying he never meant to kill anyone. In the video, he continued to say he just wanted to kidnap 10-month-old Saanvi Venna for ransom.
Yandamuri said in the video things got out of control, leading to the two deaths.
Montgomery County Prosecutors say they may seek the death penalty in this case.
It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.
The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday. That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.
By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain. It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
