27 Charged In Major Multi-State Methamphetamine Ring Bust

A major crystal meth trafficking ring has been busted by agents from several Pennsylvania agencies.  

"Operation Blowout" used surveillance, wire-taps, and approximately 30 undercover agents from various agencies in the state of Pennsylvania.

According to the grand jury, the ringleaders of the operation had connection on the US/Mexico border.  The drugs made thier way up to Tioga, Berks, and Bucks County.

The drugs were then distributed throughout the three counties and beyond.

Over the course of the investigation, investigators seized four pounds of meth, one partially dismantled meth lab, nearly 100 firearms, over $100,000 in cash and 16 vehicles.

Between 2007 and 2011, the organization may have been responsible for over $3.5 million in sales.
