DETROIT (WJBK) -

Police, fire and EMS crews are on the scene of a very serious accident in northwest Detroit.

As many as three vehicles were involved in a collision in the area of Westmoreland and 7 Mile. The impact of the crash caused extensive damage to all three vehicles and left a minivan on its side. The extent of the injuries to those involved in the crash is not known.
