DETROIT, Mich. (WJBK) -

Detroit police and family are asking for help locating a missing 78-year old man from Detroit.

George Young was last seen by a family member on Nov. 27th around 12:00 p.m. as he was walking away from his home in the 600 block of McDougall. He is described as being 5'10" tall, 177 lbs., with brown eyes and gray & black colored hair.

Mr. Young was wearing a black leather flat style hat, gray shirt, gold pants, black coat and brown shoes.

He has a mild case of dementia and is good physical condition. Anyone with information about Mr. Young is asked to call the Criminal Investigations Bureau at 313-596-1340.

    Police say they arrested and charged a suspect in connection with the murder of a Brooklyn woman whose body parts were discovered in Bay Shore. Suffolk County homicide squad and the US Marshals NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Leah Cuevas, 42, on Wednesday night. Cuevas lived on 346 Sumpter Ave. in Brooklyn, the same address as the victim, Chinelle Latoya Thompson Browne, 27. Cuevas was charged with second-degree murder and held overnight at Suffolk's Fourth Precinct.

Or the snake just isn't hungry. The state has stopped looking for the reptile after scientists failed to find any evidence of it in Lake Hopatcong and traps baited with chicken were left untouched. Three unconfirmed sightings this month of a snake, perhaps an anaconda as long as 16 feet, raised concerns among visitors and swimmers.
