Atlanta police are searching for two armed men after a shooting at a northwest Atlanta apartment complex early on Tuesday.
According to Atlanta police, a 37-year-old man told police he was smoking a cigarette outside at the Allen Hills Apartments on Allen Temple Court. He says two men approached him and one asked him for a cigarette.
He says when he started to walk away, they started shooting at him. Police say nine shots were fired from a 9mm weapon, and the victim was hit twice.
The victim was taken to Grady Hospital with gunshot wounds to his side and thigh, and is in stable condition.
