Large menorah outside temple vandalized

Nassau County cops are investigating an act of vandalism as an apparent bias incident.

Someone knocked over a large menorah outside Temple Judea on Searingtown Road in Manhasset over the weekend, detectives said.

The vandalism happened sometime between Saturday, November 24, at 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 25, at 5 p.m., police said.

The menorah, a branched candle holder lit during the Jewish holiday Hanukkah, was damaged.
