Hundreds scramble for toys in Buford

Posted: Updated:

Shoppers showed no signs of being tired from too much turkey when the doors opened at the Toys R Us in Buford on Thursday night.

Some bargain hunters seemed to thrive on the rush to grab what they needed before someone else did. Even some of their gift choices showed some comfort with chaos.

"Oh this is crazy man. It's just packed man. You can hardly get through the aisles and everything. But I think I'm good right now. I've got everything I need for my little boy," said Jose Acosta.

The biggest deal hunters got buried in their work.

"Trying to get everything done in one trip," said Camille Gardiner.

Some shoppers said Black Friday is their Super Bowl.

"I think we started as a tradition, really. It's just fun to get deals and camp out, it's just fun," said Casey Courie.
